What stage has your organisation reached on its data maturity journey?

My organisation recognises data to be a key enabler for innovation, digitalisation and for better informed business decisions and predictions. The organisation is well progressed in the cloud adoption journey, and we’ve launched a data modernisation programme to enhance the data structures to build scalability and agility for analytics, data science, regulatory and operational reporting.

We have implemented data governance, data quality and master data management tools and framework, as well as creating the right governance, oversight and KPIs for deriving end to end value from data engineering, data architecture, business insights, data science via a centralised data team.

In order to embed a more business value led approach for data initiatives, we are evolving a data product management operating model.
