I started in semiconductor manufacturing where I innovated with connected factory systems to collect data and enable analysis. At the time, my hope was to optimize manufacturing production using data. I believed that people used deep analysis and simulation to arrive at the best decisions., but I found that few people used data correctly and so decisions in business were based more on gut feel than on deep understanding of the data. 

As I learned and progressed in my career, I was able to work on breakthrough technologies that contributed to my goals including early cloud solutions, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, collaboration systems and simulation. That got me on a path to work on large scale Internet of Things/Industry 4.0 projects at clients all over the world. In the last several years, I brought all of these experiences together to allow me to help clients transform their business with data, to create predictive and prescriptive analytics and to drive transformation programs to embrace data to make better, faster decisions.
