Ellen Nielsen, chief data officer, Chevron

What has been your path to power? 

As Chevron’s chief data officer, Nielsen is working to make data as accessible and trusted as possible to better enable executive decision making and enterprise value. Upon joining in 2018, she provided leadership to improve sourcing strategies, organisational capabilities and supplier relationship management. Prior to her time at Chevron, Nielsen spent 11 years at manufacturer Henkel where she managed IT integrations and digital transformation.
