What has been your path to power?
As director of data science at Fitbit, Emir-Farinas has spent the last five years examining user information to better understand the intersections between machine learning, behavior sciences and healthcare leading to the development of prototypes and more tailored client offerings.
Emir-Farinas’ career includes four years at software developer Pivotal Software as head of data science team in Americas, senior principal data scientist focusing on healthcare and life sciences at software developer Greenplum Database and as implementation manager at M-Factor Inc., a software developer that provides predictive analytics software for marketing and trade investment management where she headed the design, configuration and deployment of its marketing analytics solution.
