Jim Tyo, chief data officer, Invesco
What has been your path to power?
Investment management business Invesco hired Tyo as chief data officer in 2020 to enhance the data and analytics capabilities of business operations and to develop new insights into data-driven experiences for customers. He has worked to create a culture shift to improve data processes and collection.
Prior to joining Invesco, Tyo was chief data officer at Nationwide for four years where he was responsible for overall strategic vision, planning, execution and management for data optimisation. He also held chief data positions at BB&T and USAA where he introduced new technologies and business operations.
