Venkat Achanta, EVP, chief data and analytics officer, TransUnion
What has been your path to power?
Achanta became TransUnion’s Executive Vice President and chief data and analytics officer in early 2022 following TransUnion’s acquisition of Neustar where Achanta had been EVP, chief technical officer and chief data officer for over six years. As leader of TransUnion’s global data and analytics sector, Achanta will be developing a unified data strategy across TransUnion and its subsidiaries, including the integration on Neustar’s existing platform offerings into TransUnion’s products and services. Neustar’s flagship OneID product links people, devices and locations across both online and offline worlds through the use machine learning.
Before his time at Neustar and TransUnion, Achanta held multiple data leadership positions across different sectors including being chief data officer and head of analytics at global retailer Walmart, SVP and global head of analytics and big data at finance and insurance company AIG and held vice president roles at both Capital One and Experian.
