With a keen eye for innovation and a knack for challenging the status quo, I have led the creation and implementation of new strategies to optimize data analysis and maximize business value.

I have been recognized as one of the Top 50 Global Healthcare Consultants by The Consulting Report, as well as a Visionary Leader in the data and analytics field by Analytics Insight. He is also a member of the Forbes Business Council.

I share my expertise and insights as a strategy management lecturer and speaker at industry events.

What challenges do you see for data in the year ahead that will have an impact on your clients and on the industry as a whole?

I foresee several key challenges in the year ahead that will impact not only our organization but the industry as a whole: data privacy and regulation compliance, data quality and integration, advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, skill gap and talent acquisition, and cybersecurity threats.

How are you developing the data literacy of a) your own organization and b) your clients?

Within my network we are witnessing a significant shift towards a culture where data-driven decision-making is the norm. The goal is to empower everyone, not just the data professionals, to understand and utilize data effectively in their roles. This approach fosters a more informed, agile, and innovative organization.

In the industry there is a growing recognition of data literacy’s importance across various sectors, leading to the integration of data literacy into educational curriculums, professional development programs, and organizational cultures.

Additionally, the industry is addressing the challenge of making complex data concepts accessible to non-experts, through user-friendly analytics tools and visualizations.

How are you preparing your organization and your clients for AI adoption and change management?

Right now, the industry is under the hype of genAI and everyone inside and outside wants to make sure they are not left behind. In the coming months, companies will need to cover initiatives such as ethical AI and governance frameworks, focus on data infrastructure to support AI, pilot projects and incremental implementations, change management strategies recognizing that AI adoption can lead to significant shifts in roles, and investment in education and training.
