Describe your career to date
I have more than a decade of leadership experience in enterprise data governance, architecture, and analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) in global, systemically important banks. I am currently Chief Data Officer at Wells Fargo.
How are you developing the data literacy of your organization, including the skills of your data teams and of your business stakeholders?
We are driving data literacy through an enterprise data and analytics academy and annual internal conferences that examine data and AI.
What role do you play in building and delivering conventional artificial intelligence solutions, including machine learning models? Are you also involved in your organization’s adoption of generative AI?
My team includes and enterprise center of excellence for AI and has accountability for development and validation of all generative AI use cases.
What are the key challenges to your data function that you are facing as its leader?
One of the major challenges we are facing involves balancing data risk management with delivery of value and competitive advantage with data.
