The\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-weight: 600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.avanade.com\/en\/insights\/generative-ai-readiness-report\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">report<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> findings\u00a0can help data leaders gauge their position against other players in the industry\u00a0and prepare for the next era of data-driven operations through genAI tools.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Key findings include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Organisations and teams<\/strong><strong style=\"font-weight: 600;\">\u00a0are not fully prepared for AI:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">95% of team members stated they are optimistic about AI and its impact, but there are mixed confidence levels. The findings show there is concern surrounding the prioritisation of action from leaders when it comes to preparing teams, processes and platforms for a genAI future.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Generative AI will disrupt work\u00a0practices<\/strong><strong style=\"font-weight: 600;\">:<\/strong>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"none\">64% of business and IT leaders believe that AI will\u00a0maintain\u00a0or increase the number of human roles at their organisation in\u00a0the next year. Most\u00a0of those surveyed for the report expect\u00a0headcount to increase by up to 9%.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-weight: 600;\">AI-first is key to competitive advantage:\u00a0<\/strong><span data-contrast=\"none\">92% of respondents believe their organisation must shift to an AI-first operating model in 2024 to remain competitive. Furthermore, the majority of those questioned agree digital investments need to increase like-for-like with genAI investments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Democratisation is the future:\u00a0<\/strong><span data-contrast=\"none\">97% of respondents use AI in their current role weekly, with 57% using it daily.
