What We’re Looking For

 

Account Manager – Corporate Membership

 

The position’s prime responsibility is to build, maintain and manage relationships with existing members by satisfying their requirements through DataIQ’s core service offerings. The position also requires building engagement with and growing a network of data leader contacts, maintaining, and managing relationships with subject matter experts and assisting with acquiring new members.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Member Engagement
  • Maintaining close and regular contact with our members to understand core data and business priorities. This will inform several streams of work, including the development of virtual member training workshops and roundtables, case studies and benchmarking and comparison tools.
  • Work collaboratively with our members to understand and support their data priorities.
  • Develop and deliver targeted activity and content to support our members. Share actionable intelligence through your relationship with members.
  • Work with the Senior Membership Manager to manage specific requests and respond efficiently to any member queries. Queries typically relate to current data challenges and/or priorities.
  • Ensure wide-spread use of services among key individuals and other stakeholders within member organisations, in line with member engagement goals.
  • Work with the Senior Membership Manager and wider team to manage member retention in the lead up to membership renewals.
  • Continuously build and maintain a strong network of (non-member) data contacts and subject matter experts across sectors, geographies and expertise who could contribute insights to the network.
  • Help acquire new members. This includes highlighting potential prospects and assisting the sales team with calls.
  • Contribute to and help maintain the Member Network tool. Provide a personalised ‘concierge’ service to members, connecting them via their competencies or where they need support.
  • Own a subset of member accounts and be accountable for retention (% renewal) and growth (additional training and advisory services).
  • Virtual Meeting Management
  • Source content for and build & maintain a programme of collaborative member meetings. This includes having regular meetings with members, non-member data leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Research, source and brief relevant speakers or subject matter experts for meetings by collaborating and co-creating content and resources.
  • Manage virtual meeting comms, including invitations, registrations and follow up via calls or email
  • Compere and chair relevant virtual meetings for your key accounts. Create actionable intelligence to share with other members.

Your Skillset

 

  • Excellent relationship building skills, comfortable networking (in person and virtually).
  • Able to take a proactive approach to understanding the needs of clients.
  • Self-motivated, strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Be personable, have high energy and enthusiasm, a great team player, demonstrate a spirit of cooperation.
  • Ambitious, with a strong fit to our core values
  • Demonstrate high levels of literacy and numeracy.

Experience

 

  • Relevant account management or sales experience.
  • Background in research with the skill and aptitude to get deeply immersed in a specialist subject matter and communicate findings to business audiences.
  • Background in delivering membership services for professional or advisory organisations with high value corporate membership fees and offerings.
  • Knowledge of the data and analytics landscape, beneficial but not essential
