Developing engagement with your own data academies
In recent years, many DataIQ members have heavily invested in developing data academies, e-learning courses, and in-house training to improve data literacy. However, engagement and application of learning remain significant hurdles.

Engagement challenges identified
Participants discussed multiple challenges that they have faced with their data academies, such as:
- Employees struggle to complete courses due to competing priorities at work.
- Organisations face a so-called “ceiling effect” where initial enthusiasm for academies fades.
- Many companies have invested in training programmes, but participation and application remain low.
