I have built my career at the crossroads of technology, data, and financial services. My journey started in banking as a retail branch manager, but I soon transitioned into a technology and data role at RBC (Canada’s largest financial institution).
I have done everything from managing a contact center for technology support, advising on technology infrastructure projects, and then into progressively senior data leadership roles managing data operations as well as overseeing the acquisition and sourcing of market data. I gained valuable experience working with the COO of a capital markets business in procurement, expense management and strategic initiatives.
My expertise deepened when I became the US Chief Data and Analytics Officer at BMO Financial Group, where I introduced a new data practice team, modernized data governance, advanced AI-driven innovation, and ensured responsible AI usage, all while navigating complex regulatory requirements. Throughout my career, leading large teams, working directly with business leaders, optimizing supplier relationships, and shaping data strategies have remained core themes.
Beyond my day-to-day work, I stay actively engaged in industry leadership – serving on advisory boards, delivering keynote presentations, and continuously learning from my peers.
