I have an MS in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, but I have never really worked as an economist! I was passionate about math, statistics, operations research, programming but not the job of an economist, so I started working as a software engineer, transforming legacy COBOL systems to client server applications during the Y2K days.
After a few years, I joined PA Consulting Group’s Information Systems practice, and they took me to Los Angeles, where I then spent ten years taking red-eye flights to the East Coast. Once I became a one million miler, I decided to stop and work locally, and to my incredible luck, I found CAA. I have been at CAA since 2011, first leading a cloud migration of our ERP platform, and since 2017 building an industry leading data analytics team and platform as the Chief Data Officer. I am responsible for a team of data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers who deliver data-driven insights and solutions to support business and industry.
I have over 25 years of experience in data strategies, consulting, and program management, with a focus on analytics, data science, and business intelligence. I am passionate about empowering my team and the organization to leverage data as a strategic asset and a competitive advantage.
