Anu Bedi, VP Measurement, Insights, Data and Analytics, LinkedIn

Anu Bedi is Vice President of Measurement, Insights, Data and Analytics at LinkedIn, where she leads efforts to modernize how marketing performance is measured, understood, and activated through data and AI. Her career has been shaped at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology, with a consistent focus on turning complexity into clear, actionable insights.

Anu began her career in analytics and insights, developing a strong belief that data only creates value when it is tightly connected to business questions and decision-making. This early experience shaped her perspective that measurement should inform action, not simply report outcomes.

As her career progressed, Anu moved into enterprise-scale leadership roles, building and leading multidisciplinary teams across insights, data infrastructure, advanced analytics, and audience operations. She has overseen the development of systems from early-stage MVPs to scalable platforms, gaining a deep appreciation for the importance of strong data foundations, operating models, and change management alongside technical innovation.

In recent years, Anu has focused on advancing AI-enabled marketing measurement, including incrementality testing, modeled attribution, media mix modeling, lifecycle measurement, and predictive analytics. Through this work, she has reinforced her view that AI delivers meaningful value when paired with disciplined problem definition, governance, and close cross-functional collaboration.

Anu leads with a pragmatic, business-first mindset, emphasizing that data and AI are tools for better decisions, and that lasting impact depends on balancing innovation with accountability and trust.

As a data and AI leader, which traits and skills do you think matter most, and which of those have been most influential for you in your current position?

“The most effective data and AI leaders combine change management and innovation with the ability to connect systems, drive education and adoption, and make deliberate trade‑offs that balance speed, impact, and sustainability.”

Reflecting on your career, what is one non-traditional piece of advice (outside of technical skills) you would give to an aspiring data or AI leader aiming for the C-suite?

“Deep technical understanding of AI tools is important, but the greatest value comes from identifying where AI can be applied to unlock growth and productivity across customer and employee journeys, and translating those opportunities into scaled impact.”
