Vaidyanathan is currently vice president, data science at FedEx where he has worked for 15 years in multiple roles, including as director, data science and director, advanced analytics and industry research. He has been integrating business knowledge, data and other scientific methods to enhance data understandings to improve business operations and customer experiences.
Vaidyanathan is a recipient of the Five Star Award at FedEx and has contributed to multiple academic journals. Before joining FedEx, he spent time as a graduate research assistant at University of Florida and worked as a software engineer for Infosys.
