As chief data officer, vice president data strategy, data platform and engineering enablement at tech developer Lenovo, McMath is responsible for all data platforms, data strategies, and digital marketing transformations across Lenovo’s divisions. Currently, McMath manages more than eight petabytes of data across cloud and on-site data centres where he develops ways to utilise the data for business growth and customer experiences.
Prior to joining Lenovo, McMath was chief data officer and chief analytics officer at human resources service provider TriNet where he led data governance and introduced new business intelligence measures. He also spent time at Hewlett Packard as head of future state information management and at VMware as director.
