I have held data and analytical roles of differing seniority across energy, health, finance, education, and consultancy sectors over the course of my career. Currently, as Chief Data and Analytics Officer, my focus is on leading transformation programmes to harness the power of data and AI to improve offerings for customers and organisational efficiencies and compliance. My work and efforts across the data industry saw me listed in the DataIQ 100 which was a great honour.
When I joined Phoenix, I had a team of five people, which has now grown to more than 70. I spearheaded and led the Phoenix Customer Data Strategy that designed, built, and delivered a Customer Data Lake. I love AI, the pace of tech evolution, and the ongoing opportunities it brings, so have been working to integrate this into my role. Storytelling is important and the data strategy with AI developments must make business sense and win over people’s hearts and minds, so they are willing to back investment.
