I lead the Industrial System Analytics team, focusing on enhancing vehicle quality, supply chain resilience, and material cost efficiency through advancements in AI and machine learning. I recently served as the Interim Chief Data and Analytics Officer for 18 months, overseeing a central AI, Analytics, Data, and platform engineering organization of over 2,000 technical team members that support all business units across Ford. During this tenure, I led the organization’s data transformation journey, migration to Google Cloud, widespread adoption of generative AI, and the development of AI-powered solutions across various Ford business units, including Marketing, Sales, and the Industrial System.
Over my 24-year career at Ford, I have held various roles, including launching a human-centered design organization, leading the early incubation and acceleration of Ford’s Mobility initiative, and driving innovation in technology and analytics within Research and Advanced Engineering.
I have a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Rice University, and have dozens of external publications, patents, and awards including recent recognition by leading publications as part of The Leading Influencers in North America for 2024 and the Women we Admire: Top 25 Women Chief Data and Analytics Officers of 2024.
