Isabel Gomez Garcia de Soria is Group Chief Data and Analytics Officer at L’Oréal, where she leads the group’s ambition to elevate data quality, accessibility, and usage across the organisation. With more than 20 years’ experience delivering technology-led transformation, she brings a rare blend of deep technical expertise and business leadership.

Isabel holds an engineering degree in Telecommunications and a Master’s degree in Business Consulting. She began her career at Accenture in 1997, working on large-scale software integration and transformation programmes for leading European clients in finance and retail. Her early work spanned back- and front-office systems and some of the first web and integration platforms, giving her a strong foundation in enterprise technology at scale.

In 2007, she joined Air France–KLM, where she played a pivotal role in driving digital innovation. She led the Crew Digitalisation programme, introducing early agile solutions for pilots, cabin crew, and ground staff, with a strong focus on CRM and customer experience. In 2016, she took responsibility for the Operations Research departments at both Air France and KLM, overseeing data, analytics, and AI capabilities. Her teams delivered predictive maintenance, predictive marketing, and yield management solutions in close partnership with the business.

Isabel joined L’Oréal in 2019 as Global Head of Digital IT, contributing to the acceleration of connected beauty solutions through the development of scalable digital platforms. Since September 2020, as Group Chief Data and Analytics Officer, she has been responsible for setting enterprise-wide data standards and democratising data usage to support innovation, performance, and decision-making across L’Oréal.
