Jeniffer Ramnath is the Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) at the Mastercard Foundation, where she leads the organisation’s digital and technology strategy to advance its mission of enabling young people in Africa and Indigenous youth in Canada to access dignified and meaningful work. She joined the Foundation in January 2024, bringing with her over 27 years of leadership experience in technology strategy, transformation, and business management across multiple industries.
Before joining the Foundation, Jeniffer served as Managing Director for Technology Strategy and Advisory at Accenture South Africa, advising C-suite leaders on how to use technology to drive profitability and large-scale transformation. Her earlier career includes senior roles at Absa Group and Barclays, where she led technology separation, change, and infrastructure programmes across the African continent, as well as leadership roles at Telkom Business and Altech.
Throughout her career, Jeniffer has established a reputation as a seasoned technology strategist, adept at defining and executing digital strategies that align business growth with transformative change. Her sector experience spans telecommunications, ICT, financial services, mining, energy, and consumer goods, giving her a broad commercial and operational perspective.
Beyond her executive leadership, Jeniffer is a strong advocate for women in technology and STEM, using her platform to mentor emerging leaders, promote inclusion, and drive systemic change in the tech ecosystem. A frequent speaker and collaborator, she is known for her pragmatic insight into how organisations can leverage technology to achieve both business and social impact.
