I am an experienced executive and business leader, serving as Chief Data Officer for Zurich North America. Prior to this role, I was Chief Actuary, Data and Analytics Officer at QBE North America, and held a range of increasingly senior positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Throughout my career, I have focused on growing and turning around parts of the business, drawing on my quantitative background to assess risk and pricing. More broadly, I have championed the use of data and analytics to drive improved outcomes. At Zurich North America, I am responsible for all aspects of data management, as well as the development of advanced analytics and AI capabilities and products.
I have been active in the industry beyond my day-to-day roles, serving on the Board of Directors for both the Spencer Educational Foundation and the Casualty Actuaries of New England. I was also appointed as the P&C industry actuary to the Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology and have contributed to several other industry committees.
I am a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Bates College.
