Niklas Teichmann is Corporate Director of Data and Analytics for Henkel Consumer Brands, where he leads the data and analytics agenda across the global consumer division. Reporting directly to the division’s Digital and Information Officer, he is responsible for shaping strategy, capability and delivery to ensure data drives commercial performance and operational efficiency at scale.
Niklas regularlarly joins community conversations via DataIQ masterclasses and accelerator events to get involved with the wider issues facing data and AI leaders.
Since joining Henkel in 2021, Niklas has overseen the evolution of the Consumer Brands data function, strengthening governance, advancing analytics maturity and embedding data-led decision-making across markets and categories. His remit spans analytics, data science and enterprise data capabilities, with a focus on translating complex data assets into measurable business outcomes.
Niklas held senior analytics leadership roles at L’Oréal in Germany, including Director of Analytics and Data Science and Head of Data Science. There, he built and scaled data science teams to support marketing effectiveness, commercial strategy and supply chain optimisation. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Analytics Specialist at McKinsey & Company, advising organisations on advanced analytics and performance transformation, and held senior data science roles at OBI Group.
Alongside his corporate responsibilities, Niklas serves as a lecturer at Hochschule Düsseldorf, contributing to the development of the next generation of analytics professionals.
