Peter De Rama is Senior Executive Director of Technology and Digital Transformation at Destination Canada, where he leads the strategic direction and delivery of enterprise-wide technology initiatives. Since joining Destination Canada in 2022, Peter has played a central role in advancing data and digital innovation. He first served as Executive Director of Data and Digital Innovation before stepping into his current senior leadership position, where he continues to drive transformation efforts grounded in business value and operational resilience.
Prior to this, Peter spent over eight years at Pacific Blue Cross, where he led the Innovation Centre and Enterprise Architecture functions. In these roles, he established architectural vision and governance, oversaw cross-functional teams spanning architecture and data engineering, and chaired enterprise-wide technology councils to align decision-making across business and IT. His work focused on navigating complex, multi-domain initiatives while embedding agile practices and fostering collaboration across stakeholders.
Earlier in his career, Peter held senior architecture and engineering roles at McKesson, Rocket Gaming Systems, and NDCHealth, building deep technical expertise across software development, DevOps, and enterprise systems.
