Sebastien Verchere is Vice President and AI Strategic Initiatives Lead at Volvo Group, where he leads the development and delivery of enterprise analytics, business intelligence, and AI capabilities. Since January 2022, he has also overseen Analytics and BI Delivery, embedding data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
His career at Volvo Group spans senior leadership roles including Vice President of Innovationand& Data Analytics and Vice President of Services and Solutions, giving him a broad view of how data, AI, and digital services create value across industrial operations and customer offerings.
Before Volvo Group, Sebastien held leadership and technical roles at AKEOPLUS, WirelessCar, Renault Trucks, and Dassault Systèmes. He began his career as a software engineer and test engineer, building a strong technical foundation that continues to shape his pragmatic, delivery-focused leadership style.
Sebastien holds an engineering degree in Information Technology from ISITV and is recognised for translating AI ambition into scalable, business-relevant outcomes.
