My career in analytics started straight out of university. As a graduate, I was part of a consultancy business that focused on marketing and customer analytics. The pace and variety of agency life gave me a wealth of experience in the technical aspects and across industries and products.  

Since then, I have delved into customer loyalty at Nectar, the architect of the UK’s largest coalition loyalty programme and am now leading a team of Analysts, Data Scientists, and Visualisation Specialists at Sainsbury’s. Working across the leading UK brands of Sainsbury’s, Argos, Habitat and Tu, it is a dynamic role at the heart of retail where even the smallest analytical discovery can drive change that is shared with millions of customers every day.   

Throughout my career, the industry has changed both in terms of technology but also in the way we harness data for value. All those changes have brought new opportunities, new questions and broader scope.
