I began my career as an aerodynamics engineer in a defence company, spending six years analysing data, interpreting test results, and turning these into narrative to influence design decisions. A decade ago, I transitioned to IAG Cargo, moving from defence into logistics to lead a team of commercial performance analysts.
Over the past decade at IAG Cargo, I have held diverse roles across the business, not all of them directly tied to data. I started in commercial reporting, partnering with the Chief Commercial Officer, before joining projects in alliances, then operations, and later network planning – where I worked closely with British Airways and Iberia during the COVID-19 pandemic to plan the flying network.
In the last four years, I have returned to a dedicated data role, leading the Data and Analytics team and driving the modernisation of our data platform to support the business’s growing needs.
