At Quest Software, I help clients prepare for the rapidly growing field of data readiness. My work is focused on inspiring insightful outcomes with data, increasing data maturity, and providing value using software solutions such as data catalogs and business glossaries.
I started my data journey as a DBA in Minneapolis for two years and from there became a Metadata specialist at Wells Fargo where I directed the implementation of a Metadata repository across the four national business units. After seven years of leading this effort for the Wells Fargo EDW, I then went to work for software vendors and a consulting firm to implement data management and data governance solutions.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with CDO’s, CDAO’s and data leaders to enlighten the data journey through best practices and creating data cultures. I believe that sharing this knowledge and passing on best practices is the key to breaking down organizational barriers and creating data as a product.
