Tom Henry is Chief Data and Deputy Chief Information Officer at Schnucks, where he leads the company’s data and information systems organization and serves as a member of the executive strategy team. In this role, Tom oversees high-performing data and IT teams responsible for building and maintaining a modern technology ecosystem that supports innovation, operational efficiency, and new revenue opportunities.
Tom joined Schnucks in 2019, bringing a strong track record in enterprise data leadership. Prior to this, Tom served as Chief Data Officer at Express Scripts, where he led the company’s analytics strategy, embedding timely and actionable insights into business decision-making processes across the organization.
At Schnucks, Tom has focused on leveraging data and technology to enable strategic goals, enhance performance, and improve how teams operate across the business. His approach combines innovation in analytics with a practical focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Tom is actively involved in advancing the data community, serving as Chair of the University of Missouri’s Data Science Program Industry Advisory Board, contributing to Washington University’s Center for Analytics and Business Insights, and serving as a National Vice President for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
