Describe your career to date

I have been working in digital transformation for businesses for over 15 years and have been in data leadership roles for over ten years. I’ve been fortunate to work at some incredible brands such as Yahoo, Disney, ventured briefly into retail banking and am now thrilled to be part of this fast-paced company Aristocrat Group. 

What stage has your organization reached on its data maturity journey?

We have a lot of bench strength in data and analytics in our company and we are well on our way to drive data literacy in our culture across the organization. 

 

Tell us about the data and analytics resources you are responsible for

I am responsible for our enterprise global data services from data product development, data engineering, data architecture, business intelligence and analytics, data science and data governance.

What challenges do you see for data in the year ahead that will have an impact on your organization and on the industry as a whole? 

I see the new advancements in AI with the release of many public LLMs/generative AI having a huge impact on the world around us and in every company, not just our own. 

  

Have you been able to fix the data foundations of your organization, particularly with regard to data quality?

We have launched an enterprise-wide data governance program and framework, onboarded some data catalog and data quality tools to get started. Next up is master data management.
