Venkat Achanta’s path to power
In February 2022, Achanta was appointed to the position of executive vice president (EVP) and chief data and analytics officer (CDAO) at TransUnion. This role came following the completion of TransUnion’s acquisition of Neustar, Inc., where Achanta previously served as the EVP and chief data and technology officer: leading the data science, data strategy and technology teams across the company. At Neustar, he assisted in leading the creation of the OneID platform and technology transformation across all products. OneID links people, devices, and locations across both online and offline worlds using advanced machine-learning and technology. Achanta is helping integrate OneID across the products at TransUnion’s.
