Many organisations have shown they can build successful data products, but scaling from a small number of pilots to an enterprise-wide model creates a different set of challenges. This session will explore how organisations divide responsibilities between central and domain teams, build repeatable delivery capacity and manage shared dependencies such as data models, platforms and specialist expertise without slowing progress or weakening ownership.

Discussion Questions:

  • How are organisations scaling data products beyond early pilot successes, what barriers are they encountering, and how are they using AI to accelerate data product delivery?
  • What should remain central, and what should sit within domains, to balance speed, consistency and ownership?
  • How have organisations managed dependencies (shared data models, capacity, platform teams) without slowing delivery, and how do they determine the appropriate scope and size of a data product?

Who should attend:

This session is designed for senior data leaders who:

  • Are scaling data products across multiple business domains.

and

  • Work within financial services or other complex, decentralised organisations.
