“The caliber of entries for the 2025 DataIQ Awards North America reflects just how far the industry has evolved in a short space of time. It was inspiring to see so many data and AI leaders from global organizations come together to showcase progress, challenge assumptions, and celebrate the work that’s truly moving the needle. Those delivering measurable value while navigating the hard realities of regulation, risk and organizational change deserve real recognition.” – Adrian Gregory, Board Chair and Co-Founder of DataIQ.

Award winners included Mars Inc, which developed a vendor to customer platform that demonstrated what happens when AI is applied as the engine of enterprise transformation; Cotality’s use of AI to improve the insurance sector for customers, risk profiles, affordability, and resilience; and University Health Network’s Dunn House initiative which clearly demonstrates how data and AI can be used to drastically improve healthcare, social issues, and direct medical needs.

“In a market defined by volatility and rising expectations, this year’s DataIQ Awards North America winners are proof that strategic, grounded use of AI can drive meaningful impact and hard results. AI is an integral part of infrastructure shifting from experimentation to enterprise-wide integration, with data teams tasked with deploying AI and embedding it responsibly into core business processes. That requires serious investment in data culture, governance, and upskilling at scale.” – Paul Hatley, Managing Director, DataIQ.

The winners were selected by an experienced client-side judging panel of senior data practitioners. The judges examined more than 400 submissions which was then narrowed into a shortlist with ultimate winners. Each entry was scored individually and then the panel’s scores were aggregated with the highest in each category identified as the winner. The Grand Prix is awarded to the entry with the highest overall score, won by IATA this year.
