With a first-class honours degree in Mathematics and Computing, Kinnari began her career as a SAS and SQL programmer, specialising in predictive modelling and customer segmentation. From there, she progressed into the realm of business intelligence where her ability to bring data to life through data visualisation and story telling has resonated strongly. This has seen her career accelerate over the last decade, progressing through senior roles both client-side and in consultancy across multiple industries.
Her technical skills and business knowledge are combined with a strong people focus. At TUI, she is driving multiple initiatives around this, such as creating a global community of analysts from across business functions to share tools, techniques and knowledge. Recently, cross-market collaboration has been put in place. An Analytics Academy has also been established to recognise the need to support career progression and skilling.
Working with HR, Kinnari has helped to initiate an integrated talent management process which is essential as the organisation pursues its digital strategy. She is also the lead for women in data within TUI, ensuring inclusivity and diversity, as well as working externally with Women in Data UK to encourage and attract more female talent into the industry and the group business.
