IBI has a “people- and culture-first” ideology which includes all-expenses paid social events and wellbeing initiatives that help improve diversity, inclusion and people development each year. The flat structure at IBI means one-to-one meetings with directors are a regular occurrence to discuss everything from personal wellbeing, new directions for the business and initiatives.
In 2021, IBI consultants introduced a buddy initiative for new joiners and a Women in IBI network. The team at IBI observes market trends and insights from its consultants to improve its client engagement and service offerings continuously through internal labs, regular lunch-and-learns and an internal hackathon competition.
Retention has been a strong part of IBI thanks to its treatment of staff, with more than 90% of staff remaining with the business. Staff also benefit from a quarterly bonus scheme, private healthcare, enhanced maternity policy and regular pay reviews.
