“With its continuous learning capabilities, Red powered by genAI is poised to further streamline operations and deliver fast, accurate assistance to employees worldwide.” – Judges’ comment.
Red was designed to be the one-stop solution for help with IT, travel and expense, global polices and more for the global Honeywell team. As the needs of employees evolved, the Red team noted that the tool needed to evolve too. By leveraging genAI, Honeywell has reimagined Red, making it smarter and more intuitive and effective for the needs of its team members.
People are using Red across every function – from sales order status lookup and procurement approvals to password unlock and reset, new hire onboarding, to IT incident resolutions and more.
“Honeywell’s smart virtual assistant Red has undergone a transformative upgrade with the integration of genAI, enhancing its ability to cater to the diverse needs of the global workforce.” – Judges’ comment.
This new evolution of Red is truly democratizing genAI and making it available to all. The more Honeywell team members use Red, the smarter and faster it becomes; adoption is already up 15%.
In 2023, over 310,000 approvals were completed in Red, the Honeywell team saved 731,000 hours of employee time and 195,000 hours of service agents’ time, and experienced a 78% reduction in IT tickets. This looks set to continually improve with this new genAI-fueled version of Red.
“This practical application of genAI has significantly improved the digital experience for employees, democratizing access to AI capabilities across the organization.” – Judges’ comment.
