I started my career over 20 years ago delivering mega-datacentres. I had several commercial roles that required analytical and hands-on capabilities to ensure delivery was successful. From there, I have had a variety of management consultancy and operational roles across the Middle East, US and Europe. I am an experienced FTSE 100 executive and management consultant with a proven track record of leading complex, high-budget (more than $4 billion) organisations across technology, biotech, pharma, finance, and real estate.
I have led several venture-backed start-ups across different industries where I held COO roles. My experience includes leading turnaround and restructuring efforts for multi-billion-dollar businesses. This has culminated in my role as the CDO of a FTSE 100 entertainment business. I truly believe my role is a people role, and technology is an enabler, so I focused where I can on mentoring, upskilling teams, and building academies and communities. I consider myself a strategic leader with a focus on delivering results in high-stakes environments.
Currently, I am driving the group’s data strategy and transformation, including AI, analytics, and governance across 30,000 staff and multiple markets. Some of my career highlights include a large-scale cloud data migration, launching the Entain Data Academy, and founding the EDM Council’s Data Excellence standard. Finally, I am passionate about supporting the deaf and hearing loss community.
