She brings more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise data modernization, AI innovation, and large-scale digital transformation across financial services and insurance.

Danielle specializes in building scalable technology platforms, monetizing data assets, and shaping global product strategy to drive measurable business outcomes. Prior to Blackstone, she served as Chief Information Officer at Quility, where she became the company’s first female C-suite executive and built its technology and data functions from the ground up. She previously held the role of Portfolio Owner for the Chief Data Office at Prudential, overseeing the advancement of enterprise data science capabilities and helping embed analytics into decision-making at scale.

Throughout her career, Danielle has been recognized for bridging business and technology to deliver impact, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in business value while mentoring high-performing global teams and leading organizations through complex change.

Her leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that modern technology is not just infrastructure, but an enabler of ambition and agility. She is focused on creating environments where innovation thrives, insights drive better decisions, and organizations unlock new opportunities through data-led performance.

As a data and AI leader, which traits and skills do you think matter most, and which of those have been most influential for you in your current position?

“I believe emotional intelligence remains the most essential leadership trait. The ability to understand, relate to and motivate people is what is key. As technology and automation accelerate, human connection, empathy and authenticity become even more critical. These are the differentiators that strengthen trust, inspire followership, and allow leaders to bring out the best in their organizations.

“Balancing confidence and humility means showing clear conviction in your vision and decisions while remaining open to new information, alternative viewpoints and the expertise of others. It’s the ability to lead with agility, to acknowledge what you don’t know and to create space for others to contribute.

“Being the best in the areas you choose and still do that with integrity and being nice. The leaders on a mission to win and be great will be most effective.

“View change as an opportunity and always look to grow and innovate.

“An excitement for making something better or doing something new.”

Reflecting on your career, what is one non-traditional piece of advice (outside of technical skills) you would give to an aspiring data or AI leader aiming for the C-suite?

“It’s not personal advice, but I always loved the quote from Warren Buffett, ‘Someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.’ I love how this highlights long-term vision and efforts as well as generosity and mentorship. For an aspiring data and AI leader, it’s a reminder that long‑term investments in the fundamentals are what create lasting value and position your organization to benefit from AI at scale later on.”
