I discovered my passion for data in 2001 after completing a Computer Science post-graduate degree in Australia. I began developing data products to help organisations monitor their technology assets, which sparked my focus on using data to create value. Throughout my career, I have focused on leveraging data as a strategic asset to transform businesses and deliver value globally.
Over the past two decades, I have held various global roles in media, insurance, and electronics, contributing to milestones such as Acer’s rise to the world’s second-largest computer vendor, The Times achieving profitability after a decade of losses, and Guardian surpassing one million supporters for reader-funded news. I have also received various recognitions along the way including inclusion in the DataIQ 100 list for three consecutive years.
In 2023, I joined Condé Nast as Vice President of Data Insights and Governance. I led global data strategy for Condé Nast which owns iconic brands like Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ where my focus was to drive a business change through global data initiatives which enabled revenue increases and mitigated privacy risks while reducing legal costs.
