The DataIQ Awards 2024 ceremony will take place on Thursday 26 September 2024 at The Roundhouse in London, UK. Shortlisted hopefuls and supporters will come together to celebrate with drinks, dinner, and dancing as the winners of the titles are announced.

“The DataIQ Awards, the first, and after 11-years, by far the biggest, and most prestigious awards for the data and AI industry are undoubtedly the ones ambitious data and AI professionals want to win,” said Adrian Gregory, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, DataIQ. “Importantly, they provide the recognition data leaders and their teams deserve for the amazing contributions they make to the success of their organisations. They are also important for shining a light on the industry which is vital for raising investment and attracting new talent. We love the opportunity to celebrate data leaders on their efforts and innovations. Our 35 awards categories are split into five different streams: Innovation, Data for Good, Culture and Skills, Data Literacy, and People all designed to showcase excellence across all areas of data and AI.”

Contenders for this year’s awards include; Destination Canada, YouGov, Indiana University, British Airways, Lloyd’s Banking Group, Aviva, Financial Times, EDF, Burberry, Heathrow Airport, NatWest, Direct Line Group, Sainsbury’s and many more.

The full shortlist for each category can be found here.

The independent judging panel was made of 33 industry experts and headed by Helen Mannion, Global Data Officer, Specsavers, and recipient of the Data and Analytics Leader of the Year award in 2023. The judges analysed all the award submissions with the subsequent rankings from the judges brought together to assess the winner.

There are 32 awards up for grabs, with the submission that received the highest overall score from the judges also being awarded the Grand Prix title. Finally, a Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to a data professional that has proven many years of dedicated service to improving the industry and that has helped guide the direction of the next generation of data talent.

“Diversity? We have an award for that. But what the shortlist for the DataIQ Awards 2024 shows this year more than ever is the diversity of leaders, teams, and organisations,” said David Reed, Chief Knowledge Officer and Evangelist, DataIQ. “Every sector, every level, every product or process you can think of – this year’s high-scoring, competitive entries that made the shortlist are proof that winning with data and AI is for everyone.
