Profit with Purpose: We’re Officially a B Corp!

We’re proud to announce we are now officially a Certified B Corporation. This milestone reflects our commitment to building a business that balances profit with purpose.
B Corp

What does it mean to be a B Corp?

To achieve and maintain certification in the UK, companies must:

  1. Undergo a rigorous B Impact Assessment, scoring at least 80 points across areas such as governance, workers, community, customers, and the environment.
  2. Amend their legal framework to embed a commitment to consider the impact of decisions on all stakeholders.
  3. Sign the B Corp Agreement and the Declaration of Interdependence.
  4. Publicly share their impact score on the B Lab Directory.
  5. Recertify every three years, ensuring ongoing accountability.

After going through B Lab’s thorough verification, DataIQ achieved an overall score of 83.9: well above the median score of 50.9 for ordinary businesses. This result reflects the strength of our commitment to building a business that balances profit with purpose, and reinforces our determination to keep raising the bar.

We are now proudly part of this global movement redefining what success in business looks like and demonstrating that companies can deliver value to their clients while creating a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

What this means for DataIQ clients

Our clients are large, complex, international organisations under increasing pressure to demonstrate responsibility across their supply chains, operations, and partnerships. By working with a B Corp, they can be confident that their suppliers meet independent, verifiable standards of governance and responsibility.

Being a B Corp organisation brings three clear benefits for our clients:

Supply chain integrity

B Corp certification means they can trust that we’re managing our own supply chain with care, reducing risks that might otherwise flow into theirs.

ESG and sustainability reporting

As ESG reporting requirements become more demanding, partnering with B Corps offers tangible evidence of responsible practice, helping strengthen their own disclosures to regulators, investors, and stakeholders.

Resilience and long-term alignment

B Corps are held to standards designed for durability, not just short-term optics. This means our commitments to fair work, ethical governance, and environmental responsibility support their long-term stability as well as ours.

It is realised when applied strategically, responsibly and ethically, creating positive impact for organisations, society, and the environment. Becoming a B Corp demonstrates that commitment in practice, verified through rigorous, independent assessment across governance, social and environmental performance, ethics, and transparency. For our clients, this certification is an assurance that we operate to the highest standards, strengthening their resilience, reporting credibility, and stakeholder trust.”
