The new DataIQ whitepaper, Generative AI: How to land your project with an AI co-pilot, provides expert knowledge and insights into how generative AI can be integrated into organisations. The findings were compiled from three unique roundtables comprising of up to ten DataIQ members and experiences and views put forward by the DataIQ advisory board at the latest meeting. The whitepaper, written by David Reed, DataIQ’s chief knowledge officer and evangelist, explores the fundamental issues surrounding generative AI becoming a new everyday business tool, focusing on large language models (LLMs) and providing easy to understand ratings for each different tool.
Some key findings from the generative AI whitepaper include developing an AI awareness programme and assembling an AI governance working group, among others which can be found here.
“There is no doubt that the use of generative AI tools is game-changing for the data industry,” said Peter Galdies, director, DataIQ. “This whitepaper and the first-hand experiences discussed by our members, as well as their aspirations for the tools, are invaluable sources of information for any forward-thinking organisation wanting to be ahead of the curve with generative AI implementations.”
The findings of the three roundtable discussions have been collated into a report which is exclusively for DataIQ members. The whitepaper and its recommendations will be released to the public in the coming weeks.
Following the wave of interest in generative AI capabilities, DataIQ has developed a free Generative AI Indicator test to help individuals and organisations assess their capabilities when it comes to AI. The 12 questions will provide insights into the readiness and existing capacity for AI within an organisation while providing expert opinions into how this can be improved and maintained. Participants can download a comprehensive report into their indicator test upon completion.
“Take our DataIQ Indicator assessment to understand how ready your data team is to take full advantage of the benefits of Generative AI,” said Galdies. “The assessment asks 12 simple questions that look at the management practices and structures required for good adoption of this game-changing technology. AI will be an integral part of data and analytics, and this is the perfect way to begin the journey.”
